Only published passports count — the cap is the total you can publish on this plan over time. Drafts you haven't published yet don't count. If you cancel a passport later, it stays online for up to 10 years (the EU Digital Product Passport rule for product service life), so the slot stays used. If you genuinely need a passport gone — a typo, wrong product, retired SKU — you can permanently delete it, and the slot opens back up.
Up to 10 years from publication. ESPR (the EU Ecodesign regulation) requires a Digital Product Passport to remain accessible for the product's service life. We commit to that maximum so QR codes printed on physical products keep resolving years later.
Yes. Each plan includes a budget for permanent deletes; we ask via the in-app assistant or support if you ever hit the limit. Permanent delete removes the passport completely (the QR returns 404) and opens the slot for a new product.
Your workspace drops to Free. Existing published passports keep serving — we honour the ESPR retention for everything you've already published. You can re-subscribe any time. You can also export every passport as JSON from Settings → Export your data, at any time.
No. The monthly AI fills quota is separate (5 on Free, 50 on Solo, 500 on Studio, 2,500 on Foundry). It resets on the 1st of every month. AI on every tier including Free is rare in the DPP space — most established platforms paywall it.
